Experience & track record

A new practice, built on real programs.

Keyground Consulting is newly founded. Its principal isn't new to this work.

The experience on this page was gained before Keyground existed, as an employee of a tier-one delivery partner. It's included here because it's the foundation Keyground is built on, not because Keyground delivered these programs as a company.

Over 8 years in land access and stakeholder engagement, that work included contributions to some of Australia's largest underground infrastructure programs, including work for tier-one telecommunications carriers. It covered the same ground Keyground now offers: route and alignment review, property and tenure investigation, landowner and occupier negotiation, statutory approvals and licensing, and construction-phase liaison.

That background spans the sectors Keyground now serves:

  • Telecommunications & fibre
  • Power & renewables
  • Water & pipelines
  • Transport & civil

It also means direct, firsthand exposure to the roadblocks and constraints that most often threaten a program's critical path:

  • Cultural heritageLand access complicated by cultural heritage management plans and archaeological salvage activities
  • Ground disturbanceSignificant ground disturbance reports and the approvals they trigger
  • National parksInvasive builds within national parks
  • Rail corridorsNew infrastructure builds under operational rail lines

Keyground itself is early in its own client history. As engagements are delivered under the Keyground name, they'll be added here, with whatever detail and outcomes each client is comfortable sharing.
